Catalk partners with NUS offering our transcription platform launches flagship Catalk, a transcription platform with NUS


SINGAPORE – 2 October 2019 – launches, a speech to text platform in partnership with National University of Singapore (NUS)., runner up in Alibaba Cloud’s SUSS Demo Day 2019 expands its offerings from its B2B speech AI platform to students who will be able to transcribe their lectures, audio visual projects, field research and interviews quickly using the transcription platform. Time saves will ensure NUS members get the best out of technologies that assist them in their note taking work and research. Benjamin Koh, Co-founder of says that “We believe the time saved using our platform will enable students to use that saved time wisely on other more important tasks like focusing on listening to lectures, projects and research”.


The Catalk platform accepts real-time input of audio as well as recorded audio and video after which it will produce the transcripts which the students can edit for their report, archival purposes and subtitling for audio visual students. Mr Roystonn Loh of NUS Office of Alumni Relations says that “I expect our students to utilize technology in their learning journey to learn even more”.
